Pow! Wow! San Jose

Pow! Wow! San Jose is back starting this Saturday, October 19.

Pow! Wow! is a week-long gathering of contemporary artists that engages with the broader community in the process and creation of art and music. For the third year, Pow! Wow! will bring local and global artists to San Jose to paint the city with public murals.

Pow! Wow! kicks off with a block party in Downtown San Jose’s SoFA District with live music curated by San Jose Jazz’s Do You Know San Jose? and local collective Universal Grammar. Other events throughout the festival include a special edition of Universal Grammar’s DJ night The Changing Same, a mural tour ride and many more events combining the local music and arts culture.

You can check out past Pow! Wow! murals all over San Jose in SoFA District, Downtown, Japantown and Evergreen neighborhoods.
