There are several ways to spread holiday cheer in San Jose. From photos with Santa to ice skating under palm trees, San Jose offers a number of family friendly activities to get in the holiday spirit.
Christmas in the Park is a San Jose staple during the holidays. Walk through Plaza de Cesar Chavez lined with community decorated Christmas trees while you enjoy a snowman hot chocolate. Right next to Christmas in the Park, ice skate under the Circle of Palms at Kristi Yamaguchi’s Downtown Ice through January 12.

The Nutcracker is back at the San Jose Center of Performing Arts from December 6-15. Presented by San Jose Dance Theatre, the longest running San Jose Nutcracker will capture your imagination and transport you to a magical world of brave toy soldiers and dancing snowflakes.
Santana Row lights up for the holiday season – take a walk down The Row and enjoy the twinkling lights and massive Christmas tree. The Great Mall of Milpitas will host several holiday events this season including photos with Santa for kids and pets, a Disney Junior Playdate and many more family friendly activities. Valley Fair will also offer kid and pet friendly Santa photos, as well as a Sensory Santa event for those with special needs.

Paper Plane presents Miracle on 1st, a Christmas-themed cocktail pop-up through December 29. Miracle is a nationwide cocktail pop-up bringing Christmas-themed drinks served in kitschy holiday cups to local cocktail bars around the country.
