Evening at San Pedro Square Market in Downtown San Jose

Experience San Jose Like a Shark

If you’re in town for the 2019 NHL® Playoffs, you’ll want to experience the city like a San Jose Shark. We have the inside scoop on the local hot spots the Sharks love.

Santana Row is a favorite among rookies and vets! Shop at luxury stores and chomp down on some grub at one of the many restaurants on The Row.

The Sharks love a piece of San Jose history – Henry’s World Famous Hi-Life, Original Joe’s, and Bill’s Café are all San Jose institutions and Sharks favorites. The Britannia Arms is certified Sharks Territory and a watering hole for Sharks players and fans alike. Enjoy a celebratory pizza after a big win like Brent Burns at Bibo’s NY Pizza in Willow Glen – Burnzie’s personal favorite – but don't leave Willow Glen without picking up an order of the famous stuffed homemade ravioli's from Bertucelli's La Villa on Lincoln Avenue.

For Sharks-themed food, local spots in Downtown San Jose get creative. Ike’s Love and Sandwiches offer the Patrick Marleau sandwich – named after the legendary former Shark. Round out your meal at San Pedro Square Market’s Treatbot with a Sharky Mint ice cream topped with gummy sharks to satisfy your sweet tooth.

When the Sharks aren’t playing, shopping or eating – they love to stay active and play golf! Great ranges to hit up are Rancho del Pueblo Golf Course and Eagle Ridge Golf Club or swing by Solar4America Ice, the official practice facility of the San Jose Sharks.
