Corinthian Grand Ballroom
Located in the heart of Downtown San Jose on St. James Park, the Corinthian Event Center is the premier spot for Northern California weddings and special events. The building was originally built in 1924 as a Scottish Rite Temple. The builders created an evocative, iconic and richly appointed building with many surprising touches. After many years serving the Masonic Order, the building was converted into a movie theater. The Corinthian Grand Ballroom has also made quite a few appearances on popular TV shows and movies. One of our biggest "roles" was in the 1997 film "Mad City" starring Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta. Now, its reputation is hailed as a historical, non-traditional Great Gatsby landmark and unique South Bay wedding venue.
