Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library

In 2003 San Jose State University and the City of San Jose came together to form a unique partnership to offer joint library services to citizens of San Jose and SJSU students and faculty. The 8 story library is home to 30 award-winning art installations and hosts weekly events from book fairs and author signings to poetry readings and musical performances. Special research collections are available to everyone at the King Library, including, the Beethoven Center, the Steinbeck Center and the Cultural Heritage Center.
