Kirigin Cellars

Kirigin Cellars

Since 1916, Kirigin Cellars is one of the oldest wineries (and little-known landmarks) in California’s wine country. South of San Jose, Kirigin Cellars boasts 33 acres of rolling vineyards, nine acres of manicured cricket lawns, over 1000 rose bushes, and 100 redwood sequoias surrounded by hills and rangeland.

Since its inception, family-owned Kirigin Cellars has maintained its tradition of offering an unpretentious wine-tasting experience and old-fashioned hospitality, bringing their traditions of old world European wine making to California. The winery offers complimentary wine tastings, including a taste of their famous coffee and chocolate infused Vino de Mocca, the "kissing wine."

A showpiece on the property is the Spanish mission-style Barrel House, with sweeping second-level decks to view the vast vineyard and perhaps the most beautifully hand-crafted geometric wood ceilings of any winery in the area. Above the bar they have mounted a massive oak root system from the property, furthering adding to the beauty and intrigue of the building. Guests can tour the property or picnic with family and friends on the pet-friendly grounds.
