(San Jose, CA) – San Jose McEnery Convention Center and the collection of San Jose Theaters announced today that they have received the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR™ facility accreditation. This announcement makes the San Jose McEnery Convention Center the first convention center in Northern California to be industry-accredited in outbreak and infectious diseases preparation and response. GBAC is a division of ISSA, the leading trade association for the cleaning industry worldwide. GBAC STAR is the industry’s only outbreak prevention, response and recovery accreditation.
